Mokaya is the data controller for everything described below.
What we collect, and why
When you book a workshop we ask for:
- Your name, email and phone number — to hold your place, send your booking reference and payment details, and confirm when payment arrives. Without these we cannot take a booking.
- Number of places, and optionally who is coming — to set the table up.
- Dietary or allergy notes, if you give them — so we can keep you safe. This is health information, and we ask for it only because you choose to tell us.
- A record of the three consents you gave, with timestamps — because we have to be able to show what you agreed to and when.
If you join a waiting list we keep your name, email and party size.
We do not collect payment card details. Payment happens entirely in MB WAY or Revolut — we never see a card number.
Lawful basis
- Contract — your booking details, because we cannot provide the workshop without them.
- Consent — dietary and allergy notes, and the waiting list. You can withdraw either at any time.
- Legal obligation — records we must keep for tax and accounting.
How long we keep it
- Bookings that expired or were cancelled: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Waiting-list entries: deleted automatically once the dates have passed.
- Confirmed bookings: kept as long as accounting law requires, then deleted.
