Booking a workshop
Submitting the booking form reserves your places for 48 hours. Your booking is confirmed only once we have received the deposit and confirmed it to you. If the deposit does not arrive within 48 hours the places are released automatically and offered to other customers.
Prices are in euro and include VAT at the applicable rate. Online booking closes 24 hours before a workshop starts; after that, message us and we will do what we can.
Payment
A deposit of 50% reserves your place. The balance is payable on the day. We accept MB WAY and Revolut. We do not accept bank transfers.
Please use your booking reference as the payment reference, and send us confirmation on WhatsApp so we can match your payment to your booking.
The deposit is non-refundable
Workshops are run for small groups, and a place held for you is a place nobody else can take. The deposit is therefore not refundable if you cancel or do not attend. You confirm that you understand this when booking.
If we cancel a workshop — for illness, or too few bookings — you will be offered another date or a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit.
Changing your booking
Message us as early as you can. We will always try to move you to another date, and we usually can, but we cannot promise it.
Right of withdrawal
Under Decreto-Lei 24/2014, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to services provided on a specific date, nor to goods that are perishable or made to order. Workshop bookings and made-to-order chocolate therefore fall outside it. This does not affect your rights if something we provide is faulty.
Allergens
Everything is made in one kitchen that handles milk, nuts, peanuts, soy, gluten, egg and sesame. We cannot guarantee the absence of traces of any of these. See our allergen information.
Children
Age limits are stated on each workshop. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and that adult needs a place of their own. Bookings for under-16s must be made by a parent or guardian.
Photography
We sometimes take photographs during workshops. Tell us on the day if you would rather not appear in them — that is entirely fine and we will not ask why.
Complaints
Talk to us first — most things are quickly sorted. You also have the right to use the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico and the EU online dispute resolution platform.
Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
